I-REC Certificates Nepal

Prove your clean energy, registered through I-Track.

What is I-REC Certificates? I-REC (International Renewable Energy Certificate) is a globally recognized instrument that proves one megawatt-hour of electricity was generated from a renewable source. Certificates are issued, tracked, and retired through the I-Track Foundation registry.

What We Do

I-RECs are the standard global instrument for proving that electricity came from a renewable source, issued and tracked through the I-Track Foundation registry. We work with The Green Certificate Company, the accredited issuer, to generate and issue certificates for renewable energy producers in Nepal (hydro, solar, wind), helping them register their facilities and reach international buyers. For companies that consume energy and need to back up a clean energy claim, we help procure and retire I-RECs to support ESG and sustainability disclosures.

Who This Is For

  • Hydropower and solar energy producers
  • Companies making renewable energy claims
  • Organizations with RE100 or clean energy targets
  • Municipalities operating renewable infrastructure
  • ESG-reporting companies needing energy attribute proof
